Sean Strickland, one of the UFC’s most vocal and often controversial figures, recently found himself in a grappling match on a snowy mountain!
Just days after his narrow defeat to Dricus Du Plessis at UFC 297, Strickland was captured on video engaging in a light-hearted grappling match with a fan during a snowboarding excursion.
To his credit, the fan sets up a good Single Leg takedown entry and takes Strickland down to one knee.
However, it’s all into Strickland’s favor from there. He quickly turned the tables and secured an over-the-face Rear Naked Choke, finishing the fan.

Over a month ago, Strickland caused a wave of reactions – especially in the submission grappling community – as he threw his BJJ black belt in the trash.
Previously he had also said:
Yeah I got (a black belt) a while ago, it’s bullsh*t, it doesn’t work.
It doesn’t work, you guys, Jiu-Jitsu doesn’t work. It don’t work.

Sloth Jiu-Jitsu: you can be slow and unathletic and still kick butt in Jiu-Jitsu.
