Roberto Jimenez Frustrated Over Not Getting An ADCC Invite: “What More Does It Take?”

Roberto Jimenez, the reigning IBJJF No-Gi absolute champion, is making a strong push for an invitation to the prestigious 2024 ADCC World Championships.

Despite his series of more than impressive victories, Jimenez expressed concerns over not yet securing an invite to the event scheduled for August in Las Vegas.

Following a closely contested match with Nick Rodriguez at the UFC Fight Pass Invitational 6, Jimenez turned to Instagram to share his thoughts on not receiving the ADCC invite just yet:

I reached out and asked for an invitation to ADCC World Championship.
I want to know what more does it take to get into ADCC.

I won no-gi Worlds, finished all the fights in the absolute.
I just had probably the most exciting fight of this last card at the UFC Fight Pass against a two-time ADCC finalist in the 99kg plus division.

I fought 77kg in 2022 and I was malnourished.
Now I’m between 88kg and I don’t know what else it takes.

I reached out for an invitation. I was somewhat ignored.
I just want to know, should I be in the ADCC?

I think I should.

Check out the video below.
And let us know what you think – does Jimenez deserve an invite to the ADCC?
