Craig Jones Announces Seminar – With Goal Of Paying ADCC Athletes Who Lose On Day 1

Craig Jones has been rather critical of the ADCC’s payment policy towards their competitors…
But he has now taken it a step further – as he’s announced a seminar, from which all proceeds will go to paying the athletes who lose on day 1 of the ADCC.

Here’s what Jones had to say on the topic:

I bring you a massive announcement, straight out of Dubai.
As you all know, this is an ADCC year, and ADCC is a very expensive production to put on.

As a result, some competitors – meaning, everybody that loses on day 1 – go home with $0.
I personally will not stand for that.

So, the Thursday before ADCC weekend in Las Vegas, I’m going to host a seminar.
100% of the profits of that seminar is going to go directly to those competitors that are going to lose on day 1, go home with $0.

So, if you want your money on ADCC weekend to actually go to the competitors, then you’re going to have to sit through a Craig Jones seminar.
I’ll see all August, in Las Vegas.

Jones had previously made it public that he will not be competing at ADCC this year after all:

Obviously I’ll be there coaching.
Give my invite to (Jacob Rodriguez), one of the most exciting grapplers in the world.

He was so good at ADCC Trials, he got 7 submissions at the previous ones to enter the event, he had a close match with Pedro Marinho.

Give this man my invite, it’s the right thing to do.
