It’s been just a few days ago that Craig Jones announced that he will not be competing at ADCC…
As well as that he will organize a seminar, from which all proceeds will go to everyone who loses at the round 1 of ADCC.
Suffice to say, Jones has been quite vocal in his criticism of the ADCC’s monetary prizes overall.
Which puts some people in his circle in an awkward position – such as Nicky Ryan.
Ryan decided to clarify his opinion on the matter in a recent social media post, emphasizing his gratefulness to both Mo Jassim (ADCC Head Organizer) and Craig Jones:
I try my best to stay out of social media drama, but I figured I would briefly address this.
Both of these guys have helped me a lot over the years.Mo really helped me and a lot of the guys out of some tough situations, especially while we were in Puerto Rico.
He paid rent for a lot of us when we were broke at the time, and just overall took good care of us while we were there.Craig is one of my best friends and has also really done a lot for me and the entire B Team.
Helping all of us out as much as he can, with how busy he is. He’s also helped me through some rough times in my life.At the end of the day, you will never hear me talk sh*t about either one of these people, as I’m grateful to the both of them for everything they have done for me.
