Documentary About Marcus ‘Buchecha’ Almeida Released: “Far Beyond World Records”

The long-awaited documentary about Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida has been released – and you can watch it on YouTube for free!

It’s a movie not just about Buchecha’s successes in Jiu-Jitsu, but also about his life…
Which is as inspiring as it gets.

The production team shared:

The documentary tells the story of Marcus Almeida “Buchecha”, 13x Jiu Jitsu World Champion, Guinness book record holder and now MMA Fighter.

In addition to Buchecha’s relatives, the narrative of this story is made by some of the important characters such as Leo Vieira, Cara de Sapato, Bernardo Tavolaro, Conan Silveira, among others.

The film also features the participation of one of Buchecha’s greatest friends, Leandro Lo, who recorded exclusive and unpublished testimonials while he was still with us.

It’s a movie that will get you inspired, as you learn about Buchecha’s humble beginnings.
And that will teach you important lessons, such as the one about not giving up:

My first ten Jiu-Jitsu tournaments, I lost in the first fight.

And I still remember the last defeat I had – it was one of the few times I cried after I lost it, because that one really hurt.
I was winning the whole fight and at the end, because of one mistake, I lost that fight.

So I remember I thought about quitting and I remember my coach saying: “You can be the weak one and give up, or you can go back to the gym on Monday and train even harder.”

So I went back to the gy and in the very first tournament after that, it was the one that I won.
