Craig Jones Wants To Organize A $1 Million Submission Grappling Tournament

Are you a grappler that’s looking for a big payday?
Well, that big (enormous, actually) payday may very well come soon enough – from none other than Craig Jones.

Namely, Jones revealed his intentions to venture into tournament promotion…
By hosting an event featuring the world’s top 32 male grapplers, divided into two weight divisions – with each division’s winner walking away with a staggering $1 million prize!

He explained it all in a recent social media post:

We’re going to be doing a tournament – under 80 kilos, over 80 kilos, just two divisions.
I want to know who are the best grapplers in the world under 80 kilos, over 80 kilos, that might want to win a million dollars.

We’ll probably do 10K to show just because I personally think that is fucking hilarious.
10K is not a lot of money but it’s what you deserve.

Jones continues to persuade athletes:

One last thing, obviously I am no lawyer, but if you were doing an event soon and they threw a contract at you, maybe reconsider because you might just miss out on one million dollars…

And, as a grappler, you’re never gonna see a million dollars.

But Jones appears to be serious about his intentions.
