Ronda Rousey Reveals She Was Disappointed By Joe Rogan: “Bunch Of Idiots”

The release of Ronda Rousey’s autobiography, titled “Our Fight”, has reignited interest in the MMA world as the former UFC champion shared insights into her career.

In her autobiography, Rousey revealed that the cumulative effects of concussions played a significant role in her defeats to Holly Holm in 2015 and Amanda Nunes in 2016, both of which came by way of knockout.

During an interview on “The Chris Cuomo Project” YouTube channel, Rousey addressed the criticism she faced from the media and fans during her MMA career…
Including Joe Rogan.

Here is what she had to say:

It was really disappointing to see how happily everyone turned against me and how people like Joe Rogan, who were crying in the cage for the honor of being able to call my fights, people who I considered friends in the media, so quickly turned against me.

The MMA media hates me, that’s fine. Not a single person called me or anything like that.
They all just doubled down and said I’m making excuses or lying or exaggerating things, or not giving credit where it’s due.

Rousey continues:

I’m not expecting this and I understand they’re a bunch of idiots.
This is what I understand.

At least I would prefer not to have these fake friendships in my life.
I prefer these people to expose themselves and not leave myself open to them.

I’d rather get rid of all these fake, superficial relationships than keep them around.
