There are numerous ways to open your training partner’s or opponent’s Closed Guard. However, you can’t just pick all of them; that is to say, you need to pick a handful of techniques and become really good at them. Essentially, there are two ways you can open Closed Guard. You can do it through standing up or from the “seated” position instead. In this case, let’s take a look at the seated variation of opening Closed Guard.
