Let’s say you’re caught in a Leg Lock. What’s the first thing you want to do? That’s right – do whatever is needed to get out and not get tapped out (and, more importantly, injured). But what are you supposed to do next?
Start from neutral? Back off and wait for the opponent’s reaction? Or go on the offensive yourself?

Well, Gordon Ryan says that you should go on the offensive. More specifically, you should opt for guard passing whenever possible.
