The ADCC has recently announced that Xande Ribeiro is going to be the first inductee of their 2024 Hall of Fame class!
The 2024 induction into the Hall of Fame is not just a personal milestone for Ribeiro, but also a familial one. Why? Because he follows in the footsteps of his brother, Saulo Ribeiro, who was honored as part of the inaugural Hall of Fame class.
This makes the Ribeiro brothers the first siblings to be jointly joined in the ADCC Hall of Fame, a testament to their significant contributions to the Gentle Art.

Ribeiro’s journey in ADCC began all the way back in 2003. And, well, his ADCC record is nothing short of extraordinary – boasting 30 victories out of 43 matches, making him the most successful competitor in the history of the organization.
His first podium finish was in 2005 with a bronze medal, followed by a win in his weight class in 2007.
Ribeiro repeated this feat in 2009, also securing a silver medal in the absolute division. He had also won bronze medals in the 2011 and 2017 editions of ADCC.
Needless to say, Xande Ribeiro is a legend in the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu community.
And this is yet another more-than-deserved celebration of his success and legacy.
Sloth Jiu-Jitsu: you can be slow and unathletic and still kick butt in Jiu-Jitsu.
