Nicholas Meregali To Compete In Who’s Number One (WNO) Event – In The Gi

Who’s Number One (WNO) has had only no-gi events in the past, which has almost become their trademark.
However, it seems that this will change; as Nicholas Meregali has just announced that he’ll compete in the gi at the upcoming WNO event!

Meregali has competed in a number of WNO no-gi matches, but this will be the first time in history that the audience will watch a WNO gi match.

He shared the news via social media, emphasizing that his gi matches are more exciting than the ones of other competitors:

After some terrible performances on the weekend with 15 matches and only 3 submissions for the main bracket, that’s my turn to show up and represent what the real Jiu-Jitsu is.

In my last tournament, I had 7 matches and won 6 by submission, I barely sweat during the whole tournament, except the final where I scored 11×0 lol tough match.

May 18th I’m competing in the Gi at WNO and I can’t wait for that. The plan is to have a longer camp for this fight because for Pans I only had 3 weeks wearing my Gi and once a day.
I felt a little weird on my last Gi performance and I won’t feel it again.

Excited to announce the match.
