Khabib Explains Why He Still Hasn’t Gone On The “Joe Rogan Experience” Podcast

Khabib Nurmagomedov is perhaps the most successful mixed martial arts fighter of all time. But the thing is, he doesn’t just draw attention with his formidable skills; he also does it with his calm, down-to-earth personality.
It’s precisely because of that reason that many people want to see him on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast… So, why didn’t he appear on it already?

Khabib explained that he was, indeed, called by Rogan to be a guest:

Yes, I watch the Joe Rogan Podcast a lot of times… He asked me (to come) a couple of times. And I really want to go there.

However, he doesn’t want to be a guest just yet. And the reason? Well, he wants to further improve his English language skills in order to be able to express himself fully:

But before I go there, I want to be ready, you know? I want to be ready. I want to improve my English (language skills) a little bit more. (In order to) explain to the people (what I want to say). Like, what I have on my mind.
In Russian language, I can say everything; what I feel, what I want to say… But in English language, I have a little bit of a barrier (when expressing myself).
