The Side Control is a dominant position in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Though, all things considered, it isn’t nearly as dominant as having someone’s back. Or as having them in a Mount… And, well, some say it’s inferior even to Half Guard.
But there are ways to turn Side Control into a better position – for you. And (much) more painful for your opponents.
