Free Superfight Between Keenan Cornelius and Sean Roberts Announced

Looks like February will be able to delight most grapplers. A superfight between one of the biggest bjj prodigies Keenan Cornelius and Sean Roberts has been announced.

The event will be taking place February 18th and will be live streamed via jiujitsu.net page.

It’s worth mentioning this match up is a redux of the Brown Belt Kumite Gi finals from 4 years back when the two duked it out! Of course Keenan also made it to the nogi finals where he faced Garry Tonon.

Sean Roberts is a Ralph Gracie black belt who competes all over the place regularly and travels plenty. Roberts is known for having a mean triangle:

You are known for your triangle. Is this something that you’ve been working on since you were a white belt? What advice would you give to someone who wants to become a triangle machine like you?

The triangle is just a move that clicked for me, just how X-guard clicked for Marcelo Garcia. By now I’ve must have done the triangle thousands of times so I’ve done a lot of trial and error with this specific position.

You can read more about Roberts’ background extensively in an interview he did with us here.
