Mica Galvão, after being stripped of his 2022 IBJJF World Title due to a positive test for PEDs, has recently demonstrated a clean drug test following the 2024 IBJJF Pan Championships, where he secured a gold medal.
His previous positive result was linked to the medication clomiphene, which he was taking under doctor’s orders but without the necessary Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE).
His one-year suspension, which began in July 2022, has ended, and his latest test results have not shown any prohibited substances.
