Former Pride Champion and UFC star Wanderlei Silva has posted a video rant (in Portuguese) on his Facebook about new Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor.
Silva, once one of the biggest stars of the UFC and of Pride FC, was recently banned for life by the Nevada Athletic Commission because he ran from a drug test.
Transcript:
“Everyone saw it was an accident. It was just a stupid fluke. The minute I find this guy (McGregor), because he spoke of Jesus, I will slap that son of a bitch in the face.
“When I find you, put your hands up because you’re about to get slapped in the face you bastard, you bum. Someone translate this for that son of a bitch.”

“He needs to be strong,” Silva said. “He’s represented for so long. He’s lived in the gym. He had nothing and became the best fighter in the world. Aldo to you, you are our champion. It does not change anything.”
