The guitarist of the famous “Five Finger Death Punch” band, Zoltan Bathory, went into the 2021 IBJJF American National Championship last weekend; and came back with two silver medals.
Bathory, a BJJ black belt since March this year (after 13 years of training!), competed in the Masters 5 division in the Superheavy and Absolute divisions.
He shared the good news on his Facebook page:
What’s important to emphasize is that this isn’t the artist’s first time competing in BJJ. When he was a white belt, he earned silver at the Abu Dhabi Pro Jiu-Jitsu World Trials in 2011.
He also earned bronze in the Master 3 division, at the 2012 World Masters Championship when he was a blue belt.
