As the new season starts, the Abu Dhabi Jiu Jitsu Pro (AJP) ranking race is heating up, offering competitors across the globe a fresh opportunity to reach the top.
This season promises not only cash rewards – but also the prestige of ranking among the elite in various categories, including weight, age, and belt divisions!
THE ROAD TO ABU DHABI
For those aiming for the top, the AJP offers a comprehensive guide to navigate the ranking system.
The 2023-2024 season, which began tallying scores from November 18th, will culminate in November 2024 with the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship (ADWPJJC).
This championship is crucial as it offers the highest point yield.
Competitors’ top seven performances across major AJP tournaments, along with their Continental and ADWPJJC scores, will determine the leaders in each category.
It’s important to note that gi and no-gi championships are ranked separately.
EARNING YOUR SPOT AT THE ADWPJJC
The top competitors from each country, particularly in the Men’s Professional Black and Brown Belts, Women’s Professional Brown and Black Belts, and Men’s Master 1 Black Belt divisions, will receive a coveted travel package from AJP to compete in the ADWPJJC 2024.
These packages are allocated based on Continental Rankings spanning regions like Asia/Middle East, Americas, Europe, Africa, and Oceania.
