After spending a few days in the golden sands of the UAE, the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam World Tour is ready to kick off the 2024-2025 season with another memorable competition for fight fans and athletes!
After making history with its debut in Rome earlier this year, the tour now sets its sights on Turkey as it plans to host its first-ever tournament in Istanbul.
The competition will take place at the Basaksehir Genclik ve Spor Ilce Mudurlugu Tesisleri.
Starting on Friday, June 7th, the ADGS Istanbul will welcome the athletes from the Amateur category, giving them the chance to test their skills as they warm up the mats for the rest of the competition.
On the following day, Youths and Masters take the stage, with the former group burning with excitement as it takes its first strides into the sport and the latter bringing the precision and sharpness that can only come from experience.
Finally, on Sunday, June 9th, the Professional category rises to the battlefield and brings all the moves and tricks they’ll need to taste victory in Istanbul.
As always, the black belts will be ready to showcase to the whole world the skillset of the ones who attained the status of “Elite of Jiu-Jitsu”, and will be closing the tournament on its third and final day of competition.
The Abu Dhabi Grand Slam World Tour Istanbul is set to take place from June 7th to 9th, and the tournament will be broadcast live on the modern TX7.com platform.
The registration window for the tournament closes on June 3rd, so make sure to save your spot to write your name in the history of the ADGS.
See you there!
