At just 21 years old, Tye Ruotolo holds the distinction of being the youngest-ever IBJJF black belt world champion.
He claimed the ONE welterweight submission grappling title last November by defeating ADCC veteran Magomed Abdulkadirov.
He has also successfully defended his title once, with a dominant submission win over Izaak Michell.
On the other side of the mat, Jozef Chen has quickly risen through the ranks of competitive grappling.
Despite beginning his BJJ training as a teenager, the 19-year-old has rapidly advanced to an elite level.
His remarkable journey includes a standout performance at the ADCC European Trials last year, where he secured victories over three ADCC veterans in succession, earning a spot at the 2024 ADCC World Championships.
However, Chen has opted to compete in the inaugural Craig Jones Invitational, choosing this new platform over ADCC 2024.
