UFC’s Charles Oliveira Set To Grapple 3x World Champ Celso Venicius

27 year old UFC fighter Charles Oliveira hasn’t had much luck in the octagon lately – he’s lost his last two fights with a Guillotine Choke – against Ricardo Lamas and Anthony Pettis still he has quite a bit of bjj skill.

Here’s a reverse calf slicer he pulled on Eric Wisely while back:

He is slated to a grappling match against 3x World Champion Celso Venicius in a 10 minute ADCC rules setting in Brazil on February 11th.

Oliveira has competed a lot over the years in bjj prior to making the transition to MMA in 2008. He won 8 out of his 9 fight with a submission.

The fight is promoted by ADCC. LAter the same day Arzalet Fighting Globe Championship will be featuring the MMA debut of ADCC medalist Rodolfo Viera against Zarylbek Daniyar!

Oliveira also struggled to make weight for his last bout having failed to hit the mark by as many as 9 pounds!
