Dillon Danis is riding high on the wings of his debut victory over at Bellator. After securing the toe hold victory Danis called out no other than Ben Askren – an undefeated 2x champion. Askren matchup seems unlikely as Bellator President Scott Coker explained:
“I think he wants to fight one more fight and be done with it. That’s what I understand”
Apparently Askren is still under contract with ONE.
Michael Chandler took offense to Danis’ attitude and blasted him:
Just catching up to #bellator198 @dillondanis said he was the “highest paid fighter in @BellatorMMA” but I think he meant to say “most un-athletic fighter in Bellator” and that was against a man with a losing record. #cringe #slow #sloth #bellator198

To which Danis quickly sniped back:
someone is just bitter one of us is undefeated 🖕🏻 https://t.co/z64Ib935kI

Chandler’s post was accompanied by the hashtags “cringe,” “slow” and “sloth.” The 32-year-old won 6/7 last fights including a first-round submission of Brandon Girtz most recently at Bellator 197.
