Looks like Cormier took to heart some of the accusations that he pulled a very dirty trick to make weight, put some of his weight on the towel used to shield him while he made weight.
One way or another Cormier managed to prove himself in a bout against Rumble Johnson and ended up finishing him with a tight rear naked choke.
After the victory DC responded to Jones’ calling his move one of the dirtiest things in sports.
Cormier said:
“It’s like you sit there and you take a table, put a whole bunch of kitchen appliances. At the end of one side, there’s a pot, and at the other side is a kettle. That pot starts yelling, ‘you’re dirty!’ while you’re sitting there with a stero*d needle,” Cormier said with a laugh, during the post-fight press conference. “That’s my opinion on that.
“You sit over there pot, with your c*alis or whatever that s—t’s called. Get over there. Sit over there, pot, in detention. C*alis boy.”
