Comprido Boasts About Lesnar’s Renewed Drive Ahead UFC 200

Much anticipated comeback of Brock Lesnar into the coveted UFC Octagon has served current World Wrestling Entertainment superstar a very welcome dose of enthusiasm.

Rodrigo “Comprido” Medeiros, his brazilian jiu jitsu coach (and 2x absolute world champion), boasted about Lesnar’s new state during training in an interview:

“Actually, he was the one who went after the UFC and WWE to make the deal. What I can say is that I’ve never seen Brock so motivated to train. He normally trains without the gi to get ready for MMA, but this time, he’s even training with the gi. He is totally healthy and in great shape.”

You might remember Medeiros awarded Brock Lesnar his blue belt just this past week:

On awarding Lesnar his blue belt in bjj:

Actually, Brock, [MMA coach] Marty Morgan and [former Bellator MMA champion] Cole Konrad are all at a higher level than blue belt on the ground, but I have to follow jiu-jitsu rules,” he said. “I couldn’t jump them from blue to purple, but I guarantee you that Brock has improved a lot on the ground. He’s very dangerous from the top but also has a very good defensive guard
