Comparing Master Wong’s Armbar & BJJ Blackbelt’s Armbar

Master Wong is a yt wing chun sensation. In case you’re not familiar with him you should check out this video:

Wong’s armbar seems very hectic however, if you have even rudimentary bjj you’re aware of this. Here’s a related segment

Recently a bjj black belt  Jonathan Kowalski offered an interesting perspective on it including a preview of Wong’s actual armbar which- to be frank looks ineffective. Check it out and don’t forget to leave a comment.

I saw a video a while ago that showed YouTube Wing Chun sensation Master Wong teaching some groundfighting combinations with Wing Chun. I noticed some very fundamental mistakes in Master Wong’s grappling, especially the armbar, and I’ve been wanting to do a video response. I got a spark of inspiration today as I found a video I had not yet released of my friend and BJJ blackbelt Jonathan Kowalski of Grappz. So I decided to combine the two videos because they make very, very good complements and very, very good critiques of each other! Hope you enjoy! Leave your comments below!
