Andre Galvao: “I’ve Been Training Like Hell Since I Was A White Belt”

There are many roads to success, but all of them have one thing in common: hard work.
There’s no going around the fact. If you want to succeed, then you’ve got to put in the work and act like you’re “already there”, at the highest of levels.

Andre Galvao understood that even back when he was a white belt.
He committed himself completely to Jiu-Jitsu early on:

I’ve been training like hell since I was a white belt! I spent all day at the gym; trained, worked out…

I worked out before practicing Jiu-Jitsu, I used to work out with my dad, with my brother.
I did everything, man. Lived like a pro.

And, because he was truly giving it his all, Galvao didn’t need money to perfect his craft.
Rather, the right people recognized his work ethic and contributed to his success:

I remember that as a blue belt, I already had a nutritionist. And people say, like, I don’t have any money. I didn’t have either!

You talking to me, I don’t know who you are.
But the guy next to you, over there, seeing that you’re living the thing – he will help you!
