ATOS Ukraine’s Gym Destroyed by Rocket Attack in Nikolaev

The ongoing war in Ukraine is taking more and more casualties as the days go by. And not even the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu community is safe anymore, as the most recent example from the city of Nikolaev has shown.
Namely, in one of the rocket attacks on the city, an ATOS training hall was destroyed. The ATOS Ukraine’s Instagram team shared the sad news on their social media:

As a result of rocket attacks on Nikolaev, the Equator sports complex was destroyed on June 17. The training base of our club Atos Ukraine was located on the basis of this IC.

At the moment, the Equator is badly damaged, fortunately no one was hurt. With the whole team, we hoped that the military actions by the enemies will not affect our halls. After all, the whole team worked hard on the opening and work of each hall. But the reality of today is sad. Our athletes and coaches were left without the largest training base.
We sincerely believe that the club will be able to recover and in peace Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu will develop there again.
