Sarasota County BJJ Coach Commits Sui*ide After Sexual Battery Accusations

Disturbing news are coming from Sarasota County (Florida, USA).
According to Fox 13 Tampa Bay, 32-year-old Lance Darren Goodall Jr. – BJJ coach who has been accused of sexual battery of a minor – has committed suicide.

Goodall has been a Jiu-Jitsu coach and owner of “Venom Fitness” in Osprey.
He was also known for training some of the cast of “Housewives of New Jersey”.

The victim, a 14-year-old child, has been Goodall’s student since October 2021.

The child’s father contacted the police after he found inappropriate content on his child’s phone.
It’s been reported that the father found texts, including photos and videos of inappropriate sex acts involving his child and Goodall.

It’s also been told by the investigators that Goodall told the victim that they were fearful of losing custody of his child if anyone found out.
He asked the victim not to tell anyone, allegedly saying that he would commit suicide if he was ever caught.

Detectives say that they have charged Goodall with three counts of sexual battery by a person in a position of custodial authority after reviewing the text messages sent to the victim.

Investigators tried to contact Goodall at his residence last Friday evening.
However, when they arrived there they found that he had passed away from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
