Rousey Breaks Silence: ‘Might Be 3-6 Months Before I Can Eat an Apple or Take An Impact’

Ronda Rousey has been silent on social media ever since her devastating knockout defeat at the hands of Holy Holm three weeks ago.

She had a ‘I’m fine and I’ll be back’ post on her instagram but since then, she has kept a low profile.
For Thanksgiving day, Rousey spent time with her family and also went walking with a little girl and she looked fully recovered… She went out again last week in L.A. with her pitbull and her boyfriend Travis Browne.

Rousey conducted her first interview since the devastating loss with ESPN The Magazine, which will be released on  Tuesday. Part of the interview was released and reveals that Rousey is very upset with the loss and is also still suffering the after effects of the head kick:

“(I’m) really (expletive) sad,”

“It might be three to six months before I can eat an apple, let alone take an impact.”

About her return to MMA and a rematch with Holly Holm.D ana White said there would be an immediate rematch but she will probably be out for at least a year:

“Maybe I can’t do it all before my prime, before my body is done,” she says. “But (expletive) it, maybe I can.

A video has been released with Rousey with a little girl. It’s her first video appearance since the knockout:
