Rayron Gracie has been a top brown belt competitor for some time now.
Although he did have some ups and downs in his career.
But those defeats only made him tougher to deal with:
Each of the defeats was essential for my evolution and I was able to analyze in detail the mistakes made.
Since then, I’ve been working on improving those areas, which led me to become absolute world champion this year.No defeat is pleasant, but they provide unparalleled energy and willpower.
But does he plan on making a transition to the MMA octagon?
For now, it seems like he won’t be following the footsteps of many of his relatives, including Roger Gracie. Rather, he is focused on the gi:
My focus is on the gi.
I believe that lies the true essence of Jiu-Jitsu and the great beauty of the sport.
