Mikey Musumeci and Gabriel Sousa are set to compete against each other in a highly anticipated submission grappling rematch on Friday, June 7, at ONE 167 in Bangkok!

The rematch holds added significance as Sousa was the last fighter to defeat Musumeci when they met at Who’s Number One in 2021.
Despite competing at 155 pounds – above Musumeci’s usual weight class of 135 pounds – Sousa utilized his signature outside guard passing to dominate Musumeci and secure a North South Choke finish.
However, Musumeci has remained undefeated since last facing Sousa.
He won his fourth IBJJF gi world championship and achieved a flawless 6-0 record in ONE Championship.
His impressive streak includes victories in four world title matches, most recently securing a submission win over MMA veteran Shinya Aoki in October…
So it just goes to show that this match against Sousa will be an extremely interesting one, with both men very motivated to beat the other man!
