Muhammad Mokaev Sparks Controversy After UFC Victory – With A “Toilet Post”

Muhammad Mokaev recently found himself at the heat of controversy, following his latest UFC fight – triggered by a social media post that has since been removed.

This post, which controversially featured an image of his “toilet illness” aftermath, drew widespread comments and discussions.

At the young age of 23, Mokaev has quickly climbed the UFC ladder – maintaining an unbeaten streak with 12 wins and 1 no-contest.
Since his 2022 debut in the UFC, he has racked up six wins in a row, positioning himself as the 8th ranked fighter in the flyweight division.

Following his unanimous decision win over Alex Perez at UFC FN 238, Mokaev faced criticism from some fans and observers for a performance perceived as less exciting, dominated by his grappling strategy.

In an attempt to address the critiques, Mokaev revealed he had been grappling with a staph infection leading up to the bout.
He shared details of the infection’s impact, including experiencing vomiting just hours before his fight, along with medical documents to back up his claims.

However, it was Mokaev’s choice to post a graphic image on social media – purportedly showing the physical effects of his condition – that stirred significant backlash.
Specifically, the post featured a “toilet scene”; and it was criticized by fans and other fighters for its, well, explicit nature.

The post had since been removed from social media, but you may take a look at it on the image below.
