UFC’s Mackenzie Dern has recently opened up about a personal aspect of her life – discussing the implications of breast augmentation on her professional MMA career.
In a recent interview with “Nina Drama”, Dern shared insights that many female martial artists might relate to.
Especially those who have undergone similar procedures:
I know a lot of the fighters, like, they have them too…
And even though she is certain of the breast implants’ quality, Dern still gets nervous about them sometimes – as it pertains to fighting in the octagon:
They’ve done a lot of experiments. They’re very [strong].
[But] I do get nervous with, like, silicone, you know – in the boobs, for it to pop or something.
You know?
Reflecting on her experience, Dern also touched upon the challenges she faced fighting soon after her pregnancy:
I did fight 4 months after pregnancy, you know.
So I was, like, literally breastfeeding and I went to go fight.
