It’s official: former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold will face Craig Jones in a submission grappling match!
The bout will take place on September 21, 2023, in Pais Arena in Jerusalem.
The Israel Fight Night promotion announced the news last Sunday, even though it’s still not known what the ruleset will be:

Luke Rockhold fought his last UFC match back in August 2022, when he lost to Paulo Costa.
After that, he returned to competition in March this year – for a bareknuckle boxing match against Mike Perry. However, he lost by TKO.
Therefore, this might be an exciting opportunity for Rockhold to keep competing, albeit in a much safer and longevity-wise sport.
Craig Jones, on the other hand, seems to be motivated to keep competing in submission grappling tournaments.
He is one of the most elite BJJ athletes today and a 2x ADCC silver medalist. He is also one of the coaches at the famous B-Team Jiu-Jitsu, as well as a grappling coach for UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski.
