Khabib Talks Facing A Bully: “Be Careful, It’s Not A Good Idea To Joke With Me”

Could you imagine walking up to Khabib Nurmagomedov… And trying to pick a fight with him?
Well, that’s exactly what one intoxicated person tried to do back in 2012, when Khabib signed his first contract with the UFC.

“The Eagle” shared that he never had issues of that nature in his hometown.
But in the USA, he did – though he knows how to deal with those people:

In my hometown, they all know me, I never had problem. But here (in the USA), a couple of times I had a problem.

I tell them: “Brother, I can smash your face. You have to calm down.”

The Dagestani national shared what happened back in 2012:

It was 2012 and I just moved to California, when I just signed with the UFC.

It was, like, between my gym and hotel. It was, like, a 5 minute walk, a supermarket.
And everyday, I’d go inside, buy something…

I was waiting on the line one time and some drunk guy tried to bully me. He was, like, 35 or 40 (years old). And he was big.
And he was trying to bully, like, everybody, he was drunk…

And I told him: “Brother, you have to be careful. It’s not a good idea to joke with me.”

And, well, sure enough – the person understood that Khabib meant business:

He just stopped and he realized that this is real talk. And he leave me alone.
