Their face-off was nothing short of spectacular.

The match began with Ruotolo executing a clean takedown.
However, Langaker quickly turned the tables with a Heel Hook attempt, putting Ruotolo in a dangerous position and gaining an early advantage on the scorecards.

Undeterred, Ruotolo went on the attack. He executed a series of guard passing techniques, keeping Langaker under constant pressure.
Midway through the match, Ruotolo managed to even the score with a Estima Lock attempt.

Langaker then responded with several Leg Lock attempts – but Ruotolo skillfully countered these submission attempts, nearly taking Langaker’s back several times in the final moments of the match.

So, in the end, Ruotolo’s relentless offensive game paid off.
The judges unanimously declared him the winner.
