Garry Tonon Reveals The #1 Prerequisite For Him To Compete At ADCC 2024

Will Garry Tonon compete at ADCC 2024? Well, he might…
If he achieves this one prerequisite first.

Namely, Tonon has been focused almost entirely on his MMA career lately.
And he is not willing to compete at ADCC, unless he first becomes a ONE Championship title holder.

Tonon revealed his thoughts in a recent interview with the MMA Junkie:

The tough part is the coinciding with my MMA career.

If I don’t put my all into a particular area, I’m always gonna wonder: “Oh man, well what if I put actually all my energy into that thing?”

In other words, Tonon wants to focus on becoming a ONE champion first:

Once I’m “The Man”, and I say the same thing about competing in ADCC, I would be super excited to compete in ADCC again.

But if a title opportunity is on the line and I haven’t gotten that control yet, I haven’t got the belt around my waist…
Well, the number one priority needs to be that.

He does want to compete at ADCC…
But there’s only so much a man can do:

It interests me for sure. I love grappling, and it’s a really exciting thing for me.
But I just have to be realistic.

There’s only so much stuff that I can do at once as competently as possible.
