The ADCC Youth Championship is uniquely structured – focusing on age categories as its primary division method.
The event will feature 16 boys and 16 girls in each of six age groups: 6 and under, 7 to 8, 9 to 10, 11 to 12, 13 to 14, and 15 to 17.

Further categorization by weight will see these young athletes compete in two brackets – the lightest eight and the heaviest eight in each age group.
This format is set to ensure a fair and competitive environment, paving the way for 192 young talents to roll for the title.

Set to occur just a day before the main ADCC event, the ADCC Youth Championship promises to attract significant attention – offering an unprecedented opportunity for young competitors to shine in front of the largest crowds in the sport’s history.

Mo Jassim, ADCC Head Organizer, added in the comments of the Instagram announcement post:

We are going to make this an epic event.

We will have walkouts for finals, production will be on point and will have some amazing matches from some very talented youth.
