JiuJitsu.net ran the results of 1,600 matches and calculated the win rate percentage of the major teams at the 2016 IBJJF World Championship. Any surprises?

Methods: All adult blue-black weight division matches at the 2016 IBJJF worlds were used. Only matches where the athletes engaged in competition were used for above stats. Byes did not count as wins nor did no shows/weight DQ’s count as loses. Team name permutations were included as part of their team (IE Checkmat and Checkmat USA were both counted as “Checkmat”). Open weight divisions were not factored in.
Selection was drawn from large teams which had over 20 registered competitors (all age/belt divisions). Some teams with over 20 registered competitors were not calculated due to time constraints in manually collecting this data.
The graph was drawn given +/- 10% of highest and lowest score.
