White Belt Attacks Referee at BJJ Competition

At a recent IBJJF competition in the white belt division, we saw a lethal baseball choke trap applied. It was set up from bottom side control and continued as the opponent climbed to mount. The competitor on top fell asleep from the tight choke, and as he was awoken by the referee, he attacked him thinking that he was still in the match!

Thankfully, the referee was a black belt and was able to reverse him and establish a tight side control.
