LeBron James and Kobe Bryant Latest To Defend Ronda Rousey

Plenty of people have piped in on the recent loss of Ronda Rousey. While many fans are saddened an increasingly large crowd is preoccupied making fun of her loss.

Sure, she may not have been trying to be a crowd-pleaser with some of her attitudes but she was also the only one to be able to demand to be left alone – and to manage to secure it. In a world where many including GSP have ongoing battles with the biggest mma empire – The UFC.

Still some are still standing by her. Such is the case with the Cleveland Cavaliers star forward Lebron James:

“In sports, in general, they build you up as high as they can, put you on the highest mountain in the world, just to tear you down,” James said (via Ohio.com). “That’s coming from somebody who has experienced it. And that’s exactly what she’s going through right now. That’s a fact. I know exactly how she feels because I was that athlete. I went through that.”

“You don’t know her mindset,” he continued. “You don’t know the drive, is the drive still there? You don’t know. But you can tell that it’s built and built and built and built and built, they always make the tear down story more important than how long it took for her to actually get to the mountaintop.”

And of course Jon Jones is more than ready to stick by her. This trending picture was posted yesterday by Jon Bones Jones:

And surely some argue that this isn’t the narrative here because Ronda herself has been harsh in the past but at one point does it become cool to slam someone?
