Following a great run at ADCC Gordon Ryan announced he’ll be switching his focus to conquering the Gi competition scene. At 22 years of age it looks like plenty of avenues are open for the ADCC gold medalist in the 88kg division.

“There have been a couple MMA organizations that have contacted me” Gordon Ryan confirmed adding “Right now we’re trying to decide whether or not to focus on just gi jiu-jitsu and move into MMA or make gi jiu-jitsu my main focus and MMA as kind of a side project – work on both on the same time. That’s something we have to discus when we get back. Right now I’m just training in the gi and started to train for MMA so when the time comes to compete I’m ready for both. “

Good luck to the kid @garrytonon. Gonna kill @ebiofficial tonight. Photo by @nathaliasantorobjj
