The Danaher Death Squad has a bitter pill to swallow following the Studio 540 challenge. And they’re none too eager to admit defeat. Even though Ryan was submitted with a Rear naked choke around the 40th minute of his sub only fight.
Now even those who watched the fight weren’t too sure any of this transpired but when prompted by Edwin Najmi, Tonon clarified:
A little further down the line Tonon raised an interesting question, how do you penalize someone in a sub only match?
But Tonon also says he had no interest in instigating a fight at the event and would rather grapple Pena.

Interestingly Tonon went even further in his comments on twitter:

Pena has been reluctant to engage in social media squabbles and is content letting people tag him in the likes of this posting:
