Dustin Poirier is an American mixed martial artist, currently competing as a lightweight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. As of August 3, 2017, Poirier is #8 in the official UFC lightweight rankings.

The 28-year-old Poirier last fought in November when he won against former 155-pound champion Anthony Pettis via third-round TKO in their headliner event in Norfolk, Virginia. He is currently campaigning for a rematch against Eddie Alvarez, whom he first faced in May at UFC 211.
