[WATCH] UFC’s Merab Dvalishvili Involved In A Car Accident

Top UFC bantamweight contender Merab Dvalishvili recently experienced a frightening incident…
When he was involved in a five-car accident.

The accident took place while Dvalishvili was taking an Uber in New York.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the crash.

A video posted on social media shows Dvalishvili emerging from a heavily damaged car with deployed airbags and debris scattered across the street:

I am in New York for one day, a couple of hours, and I got into a huge accident.

I was in an Uber and our car got hit by some other cars.
Look at the damage. I was sitting here.

I got hit and I’m okay.

Dvalishvili, who holds a professional record of 17-4, recently secured a dominant decision victory over former two-division champion Henry Cejudo at UFC 298 in February.

Dvalishvili is currently on a ten-fight winning streak, tying him with former champion and teammate Aljamain Sterling for the most consecutive wins in UFC bantamweight history.

Additionally, he holds records for the most takedowns and the most total strikes landed in the division’s history.
