Both Burns and Jimenez began their journey in the realm of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, but their paths diverged as Burns ventured into the world of MMA.
Despite his focus on MMA, however, Burns has occasionally returned to his grappling roots – competing against some of the finest in the field. For example, he won the 2013 IBJJF No-Gi World Championship, as well as a bronze medal at the 2015 ADCC.
On the flip side, Roberto Jimenez has dedicated his career to training and competing in Jiu-Jitsu.
His commitment to the art is reflected in his impressive track record – including participation in the ADCC and winning the absolute division of the IBJJF No-Gi World Championship.
