Jon Jones – UFC’s heavyweight world champion – has been seen training submission grappling with Gordon Ryan…
As a part of the preparation for his title defense match!
Jones will return to the octagon next month, following eight months after winning the world title against Ciryl Gane at UFC 285.
This time, “Bones” will be defending the title against Stipe Miočić. Their match is going to take place at Madison Square Garden, at UFC 295.
So, as a part of his preparation for the fight, it seems that Jon Jones is putting in the work on his submission grappling skills – with none other than perhaps the greatest BJJ no-gi athlete of all time, Gordon Ryan!
Jones shared an image of himself with Ryan on his Instagram story:
Great having King Ryan back in Albuquerque. Brother always comes with the best vibes and knowledge.
Ladies and gentlemen, do not count out a first round submission.
