Khabib Nurmagomedov had predicted that Rafael dos Anjos would ‘Smash’ Anthony Pettis at UFC 185, and the Dagestani fighter was right.
Dos Anjos dominated Pettis for all five rounds and became the UFC lightweight champion in the process.
Nurmagomedov is undefeated in 22 fights, and already has a 2014 win over the current champion. He has been out due to injury since the victory over Dos Anjos, but is currently set to make a return on a title eliminator against Donald Cerrone at UFC 187.
