Nicholas Meregali Says He “Doesn’t Need Training At All” To Compete Against World Champions

Nicholas Meregali is well known for speaking his mind loud and clear…
Especially because he can back it up with results.

Most recently, he shared his thoughts about competing in the gi – even claiming that he “doesn’t need to train at all” in order to compete against world champions in it.

Here’s what Meregali said on the topic:

In 2023 I had 2 weeks of training in the gi and won double gold at the IBJJF Pans.
Months later I had another 2 weeks of Gi training and beat the current 2023 double gold world champion at the IBJJF GP.

If I were at the Worlds I would easily double gold and once again confirm I am by far the best GI fighter in the world.

He unveiled the plans for this year, too:

I will let everyone compete for the gold medal and after that I’m going to challenge the champion for a super fight.

It’s crazy how simple Gi Jiu Jitsu became for me and even competing against world champions I don’t need training at all.
