Mica Galvao has recently announced his goal to compete in all four major International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) events in 2024!
This decision puts him in the running for the prestigious IBJJF Grand Slam title, a feat achieved by only a handful of BJJ athletes.

Galvão shared with us his big plans to compete in all IBJJF grand slam events this year!He’s already bought his flight to Orlando for Pans and cannot wait to compete in his home country for Brasileiros.

In addition to his Grand Slam goal, Galvao is also preparing for his final defense of the Who’s Number One (WNO) title before permanently moving up in weight.
His calendar is further filled with a series of superfights; and, as a silver medalist in the 77kg division at ADCC 2022, he has an automatic invitation to ADCC 2024.
